Our Services

Our programs are exciting and effective. Our group classes are motivating and fun! All of our workouts are expertly designed to ensure safety and efficacy and they’re led by the most experienced and knowledgeable coaches. No matter your fitness level, we have the class for you!

  • Foundations

    Our Foundations program is dedicated to our newest members. It’s an informational and instructional program designed for anyone trying CrossFit for the first time. We slow down our usual pace to guide you through the basic movements and core stability exercises, get you familiarized with proper mechanics and technique, and get your body primed to join our group classes. Foundations is designed to ensure your success; we cover everything from our programming philosophy, proper exercise modifications, and scaling and regulating individual intensity.

    It’s a great way to start your CrossFit journey and to get ramped up for our regular group classes. Because the Foundations program is in a small-group format, the coaches have plenty of opportunity to help you work on technique and get to know your unique goals and needs.

    What to expect:

    • Basic Nutrition information: Healthy food that keeps you energized all day. (Hint: It’s real food, not pills and expensive shakes)

  • CrossFit Group Classes

    The backbone of the program is traditional CrossFit workouts, focusing on strength, conditioning, and mobility. These workouts combine gymnastics, weightlifting, and metabolic conditioning in varying degrees and durations to create unparalleled results. From the basic (but all-important) air squat all the way to the very technical muscle up and Olympic lifts, we utilize them all and make it workable for anyone at any level of fitness. We build strength, endurance, agility, technical ability, and general awareness of body and mind by training movements that support functional ability and translate to real life. And of course, there are the aesthetic benefits, too.

  • Personal Training

    Our personal training sessions are the most effective and efficient way to achieve your personal fitness goals, whether you’re just starting out on your fitness journey, or an experienced athlete looking to become a more well-rounded athlete with specialized, individual training. Sign up for our personal training sessions where one of our world-class coaches will work with you to help define your goals, develop a specific program and be your personal guide. Each session is designed just for you with a set of eyes on you at all times to ensure you’re getting value out of every one of those minutes.

  • Endurance (Seasonal)

    Run a half marathon, marathon, 5k or triathlon with half the training time of traditional programs. 96% of people going through our endurance program set a new PR.

    Endurance Training puts a high priority on running technique, athletic coordination, balance and relative/absolute strength and the teaching of essential muscular movement patterns. These are vital in establishing an athletic foundation for improved performance, injury prevention, and long-term enjoyment of sports participation.

    Our Endurance program follows the CrossFit model while adding precise training protocols for endurance (running, swimming and biking events). Power and speed are critical components to success in the endurance world. With careful planning, our strength and conditioning plan increases these two mainstays of performance while decreasing recovery time, reducing injury, promoting the preservation of lean muscle and creating a more sustainable performance curve.

    We focus on eliminating unnecessary volume of training while increasing intensity. Our strength and conditioning approach for endurance athletes is unparalleled. We incorporate the CrossFit fundamentals of being constantly varied. Repetition is the enemy and results in a decreased ability to build fitness. Make no doubt — our program is not easy. We will make you faster. We will make you leaner. We will increase your power. We have revolutionized endurance training.

  • Olympic Weightlifting (Seasonal)

    Our Olympic Weightlifting classes aim to improve the classic Olympic lifts, the snatch, and the clean and jerk. Our programming follows set cycles ranging appropriate for beginner to advanced level lifters. Our Olympic Weightlifting classes are great whether you are looking to improve your technique, proficiency, and strength, or wanting to pursue Olympic Weightlifting as a sport. We have also found that the most successful CrossFit athletes have built a strong technical foundation in these 2 lifts. Instruction is available to members and nonmembers alike. One on one and small group coaching is available. In addition to coaching sessions, a program can be designed to supplement your training in order to increase power, speed, and strength.

  • Total Strength: Weightlifting & Conditioning for the High School Athlete

    CrossFit Alexandria has placed their major emphasis on solid coaches and excellent training programs. $18,500 has been spent on certifications and training our coaches specifically on training kids and high school athletes. The programming and structure of Total Strength have been developed with input from some of the best strength and conditioning coaches from around the country.The Program: Each new weightlifter begins with Total School. It’s a one-on-one or small group course that teaches the fundamentals so that right from the start, they learn how to lift with proper technique. This step is extremely important for them to see significant progress and avoid injury.Nutrition for Weightlifters teaches them how to eat properly to optimize performance and strength gains. Note: It teaches them to eat healthy for the rest of their lives — and let’s be honest; kids don’t care about long-term health. But they are motivated to eat right when they experience improvements in their day-to-day lives such as sports performance. Weekly Training will include 3 workout sessions each week (4 with the Ultimate package) lasting approximately 90 minutes. Three to four sessions provides the perfect amount of training to yield the most results.

    Spots are limited to ensure every student-athlete receives the personalized attention they need and deserve as they grow and progress. In this way, we maintain attention to detail, safety, and efficacy.

  • CrossFit Kids Summer Camp

    The CrossFit Alexandria Kids program is designed for the primary purpose of helping children develop a lifelong love of health and fitness by making fitness fun. Our programs are designed for kids ages 5-11 and consist of workouts that compromise constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive, general and scaleable for any participant at any level. Our program focuses on developing overall athleticism and proper movement mechanics. Kids are taught to move well now so that they continue to move well (and prevent injuries) as they continue into adulthood. This program also encourages a community based on mutual respect and encouragement, building self-confidence and an appreciation for relationships.

    The functional movements involve exercises that are fundamental to all things that kids need to do when they play, push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump. All of these classes and movements are supervised by Certified CrossFit Kids Trainers. CrossFit Kids is appropriate for all students, either as a fitness outlet or as a strength and conditioning program to supplement their main sport as well as those using CrossFit as their competitive sport of choice.
